How support works

Transport planned around the whole journey.

A useful transport arrangement is about more than the trip itself. It considers preparation, timing, mobility, communication, the destination, waiting periods and what support is needed when the participant arrives. We plan these details with the participant before travel.

Transport may support medical or allied-health appointments, employment, study, shopping, community activities, social connections or other goals. Availability depends on the agreed service, worker and vehicle requirements, travel distance, timing and the participant’s funding arrangements.

Costs and the applicable NDIS funding treatment are explained before transport is provided. Where the service requires registered-provider delivery, Pixel Care Group coordinates it through an approved registered-provider arrangement and confirms the responsible provider and service roles with the participant.

A clear provider pathway.Where registered-provider delivery is required, the responsible provider, each party’s role and the funding pathway are explained before services begin and recorded in the service agreement.
